Utah Association of School Psychologists
Legislative Committee Mission
- To monitor legislation and public policy at local, state and national
levels which affects children, education and the profession of school
psychology.
- To advise the Board of the Utah Association of School Psychologists
and inform all members of the association concerning legislative and
policy issues that affect children, families, education and the profession
of school psychology.
- To educate and inform interested persons, legislators and policy specialists
concerning proposals, issues and policies that affect children, families,
education and the profession of school psychology.
State Activities:
- The UASP Legislative Affairs Committee maintains a list-serve for the
purposes of communicating to members across a wide range of topics and
professional issues. The list-serve is located at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/utahschoolpsychologyassociation/.

National Activities
- UASP encourages all members to become familiar with the Public Policy/Advocacy
activities of the National Association of School Psychologists. You may
